Gameplay

The gameplay in Genshin Impact is a mixture of open-world exploration and action-based battles. Players control a party of up to four characters, using a combination of melee and ranged attacks. Enemies appear on the field and can be attacked from a distance or from up close. Battles are action-based, requiring the player to perform combo attacks to inflict greater damage on enemies. In each battle, the player can select from four types of elemental magic, which are assigned to the four face buttons on the controller. Each of these elements has a different effect in battle, such as an area-of-effect attack or a buff to the party.
