The player's goal is to make this town prosper and grow in size by either working or playing games. Gacha Life is a game that revolves around the popular Japanese Gacha game mechanic. The game is set in a grim gothic world where players take on the role of a gacha addict, who tries to make it through the day. Players are given a starting budget which they spend on gacha tickets, which are used to spin to win new characters, who are used to compete in the game.

Gameplay

There are four activities in Gacha Life, namely working, playing games, making friends, and finding love. Working consists of three different types of jobs. Playing games consists of playing the lottery, playing with friends, and other activities. Making friends consists of meeting other people in the game. Finding love consists of meeting other people in the game and eventually getting married.

The player starts with a budget, which they use to buy gacha tickets. These tickets are then used to spin the machine, to see if they will get a new character. If they don't, they can pay more tickets to keep playing. Characters are used to compete in the game to gain more money, which they can use to buy more gacha tickets. The player can also trade with other players for more powerful gacha tickets.
