Diablo 4 Beta: Get Ready to Test the Game With Early Access and Open Beta

It's finally here: the upcoming Diablo 4 beta. After many years of anticipation and waiting, players will soon get the chance to explore the world of Sanctuary and experience the fifth installment of the legendary Diablo franchise. The beta will be split into two weekends and will give players a taste of what the full game has to offer.

During the beta, players will have access to five classes and explore the initial open-world area, the Fractured Peaks. While playing, players should keep in mind that they may come across some performance issues, outages, and things that simply don't work. 

What You Need to Know

The Diablo 4 early access beta for pre-ordered players will begin Friday, March 17, at 9 a.m. PT and ends Monday, March 20, at 12 p.m. PT. During this beta, players will have access to three classes: Barbarian, Rogue, and Sorcerer. 

The second Diablo 4 open beta, which is available to everyone, will start on Friday, March 24, at 9 am PT and end on Monday, March 27, at 12 pm PT. rbarian, Rogue, and Warlock will again be available to play, but the Necromancer and Druid will also be included. 

During both betas, the max level will be 25, but if you reach level 20 on one character, you'll receive some cosmetic rewards for the full game when it launches in June. 

What You Can Expect to Experience in the Beta 

The beta will be limited to the Fractured Peaks, one of the five regions that make up the open world of Diablo 4. The game's prologue and first act take place in a snowy, mountainous area and eventually lead you to the capital city of Kiowashad. It's a dark and gloomy place with half-destroyed and abandoned settlements everywhere, as well as plenty of dungeons and side quests to complete. During the beta, players may also encounter some of the game's big world bosses, which provide powerful loot.

System Requirements for the Diablo 4 Beta 

In order to make sure you have the best experience when playing the Diablo 4 beta, Blizzard has provided some system requirements for PC players. The minimum system requirements are an Intel Core i5 2500K or AMD FX 8100 processor, 8 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD RAdeon R9 280 GPU, and 45 GB available storage space. 

The recommended system requirements for a better quality experience are an Intel Core i5 4670K or AMD R3 1300X processor, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 370 GPU, and 45 GB available storage space.
