How Minecraft Player Created a Giant Version Of Snake Using Redstone

Some ambitious Minecraft modders are taking the sandbox game to new heights. A recent example of this was a modder recreating an enormous version of the classic mobile title, Snake, in the Mojang game. This impressive achievement shows the community's dedication and the endless potential for personal expression that the game offers. 

Minecraft is no stranger to ambitious projects, from grand castles to elaborate Redstone contraptions. Reddit user mattbatwings2 recently uploaded a clip of their recreation of the classic Snake game, constructed entirely with Redstone within the Mojang game. With one of the biggest maps in gaming, along with endless creative potential, it's no surprise that Minecraft is still a popular game.

The clip shows the game working in a similar fashion to its original version, collected by the classic Nokia phones. Although the original was relatively simple, it rose to fame due to the lack of smartphone technology that was prevalent at the time, becoming a massive hit. According to mattbatwings2, it took a few weeks “on and off” to complete the project.

To show just how talented this modder is, it's worth noting that in the past, they have also recreated MS Paint in Minecraft in 24 hours and successfully built a 3D renderer. This is by no means the first impressive creation to come out of the Minecraft community, though. Many have built huge structures, while others use their creativity to craft machines and contraptions.
